A tracker (a cookie or the browser's local storage) is a piece of information stored on your device when you visit the Site. This policy describes the ones we use, in accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés) and the guidelines of the CNIL (the French data protection authority).

4.1 Strictly necessary trackers

They are essential for the Site to work, or reflect a choice you have made. They do not require your consent:

  • keeping your session open and securing your login;
  • remembering your display preferences (light or dark theme, collapsed menu, language);
  • temporarily keeping an invitation code while you log in, or a first working session in progress until your account is created.

4.2 Audience measurement

The marcel-os.com website measures its traffic with a tool developed by OGIRY and hosted with the Site, in order to know which pages are viewed and to improve its content. It records anonymous events — a page view, a click on a link or button, a form submission — with the page concerned, the source of the visit (the site you came from, or the campaign), the type of device (phone, tablet or computer) and the country.

It sets no cookies and records neither your IP address nor any identifier: it cannot recognise you from one visit to the next, nor follow you on other sites. Only the source of your visit is kept in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. The data is neither cross-referenced nor passed on to third parties, and is kept for a maximum of thirteen (13) months.

This tool meets the exemption conditions set by the CNIL (purpose strictly limited to audience measurement, anonymous data, no cross-referencing): it runs without your consent, but you can object to it at any time (see 4.4).

The Marcel OS application (app.marcel-os.com) uses no audience measurement or advertising trackers.

4.3 Third-party services

Links to third-party services (instant messaging, appointment booking, social networks) take you to their sites, which apply their own policies.

4.4 Managing your choices

The Site uses no trackers that require consent, so no banner is shown to you.

You can object to audience measurement below. Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage, for this site only, and you can change it at any time. Measurement is also disabled when your browser sends the “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal.

Audience measurement: active in this browser.

You can also set your browser to block trackers; some features may then no longer be available.
